Death has laid its icy hands on Ghanaian dancehall artist Ebony Reigns. Exclusive information reaching Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture And Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com indicates Ghanaian dancehall artist Ebony is dead. Ebony who was returning from Sunyani after a visit was involved in a car accident and died at the Bechem Government Hospital. According our reporter, the driver however survived and is receiving treatment. Reliable information available to us indicates Ebony was returning to Accra to make preparations for a trip to America. We are unable to share the pictures from the accident scene due to the gory nature of them. Attempts to reach her management have proven futile. Stay glued for more information.

NEWS UPDATE:Shatta Wale annoyed with artist over ‘whack’ painting

Dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, known in showbiz as Shatta Wale, has berated an artist for not properly painting him. In a photo that has gone viral, the self-acclaimed dancehall king is pictured in a painting done by an unknown artist. Shatta Wale is painted holding a microphone performing. However, he was not enthused by the work done by the artist and has warned that such “whack” paintings of him must not be repeated. In a Twitter post, Shatta Wale said although he appreciates those who try to paint him, he would not condone any appalling work from any artist that has not mastered his art. “I appreciate those who draw me but if you haven’t mastered your art, don’t come close to me. I no dey play like that,” he wrote. One fan of his requests that he sues the artist, but Shatta Wale did not reply. The Organizers of the annual VGMA awards will soon unveil the nominees for various categories in the scheme after the applications are done. This years edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards categories will be very tough and heartbroken as new artistes who emerged last year as well as reigning artistes worked very hard dropping hits upon hits throughout the year from January to December 2017. Artiste doing various music genre in the industry such as Gospel, High life, Hip life, Afro pop, Reggae/ Dancehall, Hipop, as well as the producers and engineers who worked so hard throughout the year will be applying for their nomination
